Harvest 2007

At our harvest service we has 27 people but few turned up for the Sunday services.  The preacher in the right and photograph is Brian Lawrenson from Copnor Grace Baptist Church.

New Banners

On 28th June 2007 at the Coffee morning we put up some new banners on the front of the church.  These pictures show work in progress and some of the admiring 'crowd'!  The last picture is of a typical coffee morning scene inside while some of us worked.

Working in the Manse

Having evicted the tenants our manse need a lot of work.  Her you see Betty & John Goodspeed being helped by the visiting preacher and his wife (Eddie & Pam Porter) when a projected outing had been rained off!

Christmas 2006

We had a similar number of people at our carol service this year as we did last year - mainly families of members and just one person who responded to a leaflet through her door.

Old Friends Visit

We were so pleased on Sunday 23rd July when the Price family who were among our members around 6 years ago came to the evening service.  It was great to catch up on their news.

Sunday July 1st 2006 - Informal Service

On the first Sunday of each month we have tea in the church to which we invite friends.  Afterwards we have a slightly less formal service.  On July 1st Kirsty and her guide dog Cindy were with us with a few others.  The preacher is David Tucker of 'Words of Life' ministries.
